California Bears Baseball Club 17UUSA Baseball Tournament - Goodyear and Peoria, Arizona

It was a long week of dry heat in Arizona where 64 teams battled it out to be the 2014 West National Team Champion.

Congratulations to the California Bears Baseball Club who having the youngest members on their team finished 12th overall.  I'm sure they will be the team to watch out for in next year's tournament.

Below are a few shots we did for Valor Bats.  If you need a wood bat, they have a wide selection of wood bats for very reasonable prices.  The one being used here is the V5 161 Birch.  Handle and barrel both white with a black logo.

Whenever we have shoots we always joke around about having to play ninjas during events so that we are not seen. This was our first time having to really plan how we were not going to be obvious that we were filming what was going on.  We even joked with friends that the Mission Impossible or 007 theme song should be playing in the background especially since we had all these people wondering why we were standing behind beams and pointing our cameras directly at this couple getting their caricatures drawn.

We shoot weddings throughout the year, and it was an awesome experience to shoot what was about to happen.  Jose's surprise proposal was a success!  Congratulations and happy planning you two!  Bring out the wedding binder!!

When someone only needs straight headshots I kind of feel bad because it's as if I'm not really doing anything. It's simple . . set up light, make sure it's in the right spot, point and shoot. Okay maybe it's not that "simple" ha ha.

Point and shoot and cross your fingers they don't cry. The great thing about newborns is sleep photos work awesome! When they're awake, it's unpredictable . . . hungry one sec and pooping the next. Such a hard life!

If there was ever a time to name a bride that made me laugh, Larisa would definitely be one of the top brides I'd pick.  Throughout the whole day she was constantly doing things such as making funny faces at the camera, giving a quick fist pump, and even "making out" in the photobooth with Sergio (which you can catch in the highlights video).  Congratulations to the newlyweds . . .Sergio and Larisa!
